Designed for water utility metering applications, the E-Series meter features ultrasonic technology and electronic, solid-state construction. In addition, an internal battery powers the meter for up to 20 years – an engineering feature that provides dependable service and peace of mind. Rest assured, the E-Series meter will outlast conventional meters in most applications.

The E-Series meter works by using ultrasonic transducers mounted within the meter housing. The meter continually calculates flow rate and consumption based on the measurement of signals sent in rapid succession in both forward and reverse direction – and the temperature of the water.

The E-Series meter is useful in any application requiring long-term measurement accuracy. The all-electronic E-Series meter is also ideal for residential fire service applications and less than optimum water conditions.
